All healing occurs at His hand. All to say though, his direction and push to choose healing and to take certain steps are right on. I certainly related to his story of divorce and feeling the pain surrounding a wife wanting to leave you. I am confident, however, that if you make the healing choices presented here and counter the lies you need to stop living, you will experience some level of healing to a new degree.
Personally, choosing to live in community has been the biggest challenge for me and the most important takeaway from the book. Ten common lies prevent individuals from making those choices that bring about healing.
